
Sticky Garlic Tofu with Green Beans
Crispy pan-fried tofu cubes and blistered green beans glazed in a sticky garlic-maple sauce. A sweet-savory weeknight hit.

Ingredients
- 1 block Extra-firm Tofu
- 12 oz Green Beans
- 3 tbsp Tamari
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 cups Jasmine Rice
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Cook jasmine rice according to package directions.
- Toss tofu cubes with 1 tbsp cornstarch. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook tofu 5–6 minutes until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add green beans. Cook 4–5 minutes until blistered and tender-crisp. Remove.
- Whisk together tamari, maple syrup, rice vinegar, remaining cornstarch, and 2 tbsp water. Pour into the skillet with sesame oil and garlic. Cook 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return tofu and green beans to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sticky sauce. Season with salt to taste.
- Serve over rice, topped with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes.
